Yes, listing your business on BusinessesNear.com is free. You just need to be registered and logged in to set up your listing.
- To claim your business, first register at BusinessesNear.com (if you haven’t already) or log in.
- Visit your business listing and click “Claim Listing to Update Details” to update the details.
Enter your data and a message in the popup form, and send it to us.
You will receive a message if and when the claimed listing has been assigned to you.
A BusinessesNear.com associate may contact you before that for verification.
BusinessesNear.com offers several search options to find businesses.
1. The menu item “Search” in the top bar will take you to a search page.
2. On the homepage, you can search for businesses by keyword or category.
3. On the homepage, you can search for businesses using the categories.
If you are able to log in and want to change your password, you can do it in your account.
If you can’t log in, you can still go to “Login” and click on “Forgot Password” in the login window.
Enter your the email address you registered with at BusinessesNear.com.
This should be an active email address because you will receive an email guiding you through the next steps for your password reset.
Please note: Strong password with less than 15 characters required.
- In the top menu of the website, hover over the “LOGIN” menu item.
- Click on “REGISTER.” in the dropdown.
- In the popup window, enter your first name, last name, and choose a username and password.
- Finally, click on “CREATE ACCOUNT” to complete your registration.
Please use a working email address because communication related to your listing, password resets, etc. will be sent to this email address.
Your account will be active immediately, and you can start adding your own business, add and manage your favorites or edit your account.

How to create your business listing:
After login click here to add a new listing.
Or hover over “My Account” in the top menu.
In the dropdown choose “Add Listing”.
Alternatively, you will find the option to add a listing on the homepage above the business categories.
- Click on “My Account” in the top menu.
- In your account, you will find your bookmarked business listing under “Manage listings and favorites”.
- You need to be logged in to edit your listing.
- Go to “My Account” in the top menu.
- In your account, you will find your business listing under “Manage listings and favorites”.
Please note: You will only be able to edit your listing after it has been approved by an admin.

No, you can’t upload videos directly when you set up your listing in our business directory. But you can host your videos on Youtube, for example, and use their embed code to display your video along with your listing in the directory.
